Things To Do in Madeira Beach

Madeira Beach, Florida has so much to offer our guests. Located between Redington Shores and Treasure Island on the beautiful emerald coast of the Gulf of Mexico. - Just a few of the area's attractions located within walking distance or a short drive away are  many attractions that you can explore while visiting with us on your vacation!


Johns Pass - Less than a mile from the Collwood building, this quaint fishing village is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat and jet ski rentals along with parasailing opportunities.  You can explore our boardwalk on the waterfront, a short walk down the beach.  You can watch the fishing boats come in and clean the catch of the day.


Tampa - The Florida Aquarium is home to more than 7,000 aquatic plants and animals from Florida and all over the world. The Florida Aquarium's exhibits are laid out to show the journey of a drop of water from one of Florida's many fresh-water springs out to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Exhibits include a large simulated wetlands exhibit located under a tall glass atrium, a simulated beach, and a coral reef community housed in a 500,000-US-gallon tank.


Tarpon Springs -  is home to and known as "Sponge Capital of the World" and throughout the year has numerous year-round festivities.  Tarpon Springs is a city on central Florida’s Gulf Coast. Greek eateries line both sides of the waterfront Dodecanese Boulevard, a legacy of the Greek sponge divers who settled here in the early 1900s. Along the water, the Historic Sponge Docks are a reminder of the once booming industry. The 1940s St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church has stained glass and a Grecian marble altar. Tarpon Springs is a mix of boats, boutiques and bakeries that spans several blocks inland and along the waterfront. Take in the beautiful beaches of Fred Howard Park or make your way to Sunset Point and relax and take in the breath taking sunsets!  


Busch Gardens Tampa Bay - Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a 335-acre animal theme park located in Tampa, Fl. with the entire park landscaped and designed around themes of Africa and Asia.
